🕊️ In Memory of Dick Bowen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dick Bowen, a beloved member of the Weston Trent Valley Darts League.

Dick has been a registered player in our league for over 30 years, and throughout that time, he was known not only for his skill and dedication to the game, but also for his warmth, camaraderie, and unwavering sportsmanship. His presence at matches and events brought joy to many, and he will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dick’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

On behalf of everyone at the Weston Trent Valley Darts League, thank you, Dick, for everything. Your legacy will live on in the spirit of the game and in the memories of your fellow players.

If you wish to pay your respects, Dick Bowen’s Funeral is on the 23rd October at 14:30 at the Stafford Crematorium.

The Pheasant in Stone has closed its doors for the last time on Friday 11th July 2025.

The Pheasant team have relocated to the Stone Cricket Club

Sadly Bob Hill passed away on the 23rd April 2025, he has been a part of the league for longer than I can remember, he will be greatly missed
